Just as handsome as daddy

I pasted some of Stuart's baby pictures (I'm not very good at that so forgive the bad job) beside Sam. I think it's pretty clear this kid is 100% Main...the cheeks, the nose, the chin...! :) no wonder he's so cute!!

ps...Dad hates this shirt because it says just as handsome as daddy and then Sam has this huge gut sticking out. hahhaa, cracks me up!

Such a fun game

Sam has a new game: pick up the hand towel bar in the bathroom and throw it....see how funny he thinks this is (in between sucking his fist!). He kept doing it over and over and laughed every time! Seriously - between this and the ceiling fan, I don't know why we buy toys!

3 months old!

wow, I can't believe my little guy is 3 months old already. He is such a character and really fun. We are lucky he is such a happy baby!

This weekend mom & dad went on a date on Saturday night and Sam stayed with grandma & grandpa. he loves staying with them because he's the center of attention there and they don't try to juggle chores with sam-time! :) On Sunday we went to a birthday party and Sam had a great time being passed around...the good news for mom: all this activity wore him out! Last night around 7:30 he was looking drowsy so I thought he would have one of his power-naps and put him in his swing....had to get him up at 10p to go to bed which he wasn't too happy with! But he ate and went to sleep and next time he woke up was 5am! yes, 5am! he usually wakes up around 3 hours so 7 was a real treat. I'll take it any time Sam. :)

Stroller Fitness

I have signed up for a stroller fitness class with Sam. I love it (although can barely move today) - the teacher is very nice and the other moms are very nice too. And it is nice being in a class where you really don't have to worry if your kid is going to freak out or not.

And, Sam really likes it as you can see. I said to him "Sam, are you excited about stroller class?" and he gave me this huge smile:

12 weeks old!

Friday night we sat outside after work for a little bit

Saturday we decided to take Sam for his first hike. he's not a huge fan of the bjorn, but once he realized that he could suck on it, he was content. The bjorn was soaked by the time we were done the hike!

I hate this thing...

Oh, I can suck on it? OK, I guess I won't cry

Dad thoroughly enjoyed introducing Sam to his favorite place: outdoors!

Sam got a sock-owl from Auntie Carolyn & Uncle Devin, and he has now discovered how yummy it tastes! (this is his new thing...eating clothes & blankets...??!)

Mom is playing with me & Wink so I will try to play along by eating Wink's face...

The face seems to be too big, so I'll try the arm...

oh, never mind...I found the ceiling fan!
