Happy New Year
we are home from Saint Lucia! We had a wonderful time....the weather was perfect, St. Lucia is beautiful and the people were wonderful. There was a little hiccup in the middle of the trip though ... poor Sam had to be hospitalized for two days due to a lower respiratory infection. That is one hard thing for a new parent to experience and mom shed just a few tears! But the staff at the hospital were amazing and Sam had great care. We were fortunate enough to get a private room too so both Stuart & I could stay and we took shifts sleeping with Sam. Once Sam got out of the hospital, he was still recovering for a few days so we just kept it low key at the resort for the rest of the trip. But we are looking forward to returning one day and exploring more of the island.

So sorry to hear Sam was so ill! Don't feel bad about the tears- I shed quite a few when my 4th was hospitalized for a couple of days. We still don't know why. Has nothing to do with being a first time mom, and everything to do with being a mom that loves her baby(ies)!!
