Swimming 2012

Sam started swimming lessons again this year and is having a blast! he's so excited when we ask him if he wants to go swimming

Science Centre

we took Sam to the new Science Centre this weekend....and he LOVED it. I was surprised at how much activity there was for his age and it was such a blast that we converted our day admission to an annual admission

wind tunnel ... you put materials in the tunnel and could control the wind speed and the materials would blow up this tube and then fall out. sam thought this was SOOOO funny!

dad had fun too (notice Sam is nowhere in site .... just dad playing until some little 1yr old walked right into his tower, hehe)

Maui

Maui was awesome .... we were there from Dec 24-31 and the only thing wrong was that it was too short! that's a good vacation :)

December

December has been crazy busy, but lots of fun! it involved a visit from Baba & Papa while mom and dad went to Banff for an evening, Sam's "Holiday Party" at daycare, a trip to Medicine Hat to visit with Aunty & Uncle, Christmas round 3 with Tammy's parents, a gingerbread house, Sam's first sledding, and a visit to Santa!

weekend with baba & papa

Stuart's parents flew in this weekend to stay with Sam while we went to Banff... it was their first overnight with Sam and he LOVED it! in fact, when we got home Sam was napping so when he woke up, we went to get him and he looked at us shyly and then we brought him downstairs and he saw baba & grandpa (who he calls pa pa) and got the HUGEST smile and yelled "HI!" really made us feel missed. :) But we're glad he had such a fun time - going to have to do it again

We had Christmas with them too while they were here. They brought Sam his own suitcase to take to Maui

and look, it's full of presents!

a new "BIG TRUCK!" book - we didn't see much of Sam for the next 10 minutes because he was so engrossed in his new book
