Swimming Lessons

Sam had his first swimming lesson today...of course he loved it, he's such a water baby. And mom was thrilled to see that it was 100% dads & babes so now she gets a free morning once a week. :)

now that he has mastered crawling, my little monkey is climbing on everything! (and unfortunately learning that certain items of furniture are not stable enough to climb on, haha)

New games every day

I love watching Sam learn new things ... he is so curious about everything around him and loves new things. This week he started playing ball - grandma had a ball destined for garbage but Sam got to her house before she got to the garbage and now that is his favorite game and WOW does he have an arm.

We also took him to the swings at the park on the weekend and he LOVED it! huge smiles and laughs.

Weekend pics

Stuart's family came to visit for a few days and we had a fun weekend with them! (I have been down with the flu so took me a few days to sort through the pics) Stuart's parents got to share in the ONLY day Calgary has been over 30 & even better - got to witness Sam crawling for the first time! Then we went to Lady Gaga in Edmonton (Sam had a sleepover at grandma's) & home to watch the riders lose. :(

On a mission ... now that he has figured out crawling, he just goes for what he wants! (tongue out and all, haha)

and at the end of the night, he was tired of posing for pics! poor guy was getting tired and his teeth were bugging him and he just wanted mom or dad (but I had to throw the picture in to show that he's not always smiling)

But later the smile came back when it was time for a bath! his favorite spot ...
